The Flex Loc Car Seat is for weights between 5 and 30 pounds (2.2 and 13.6kg.) heights of 30" or less (76.2cm). This infant car seat features a 5 point safety harness with a easy one-hand harness adjustment and push-button release. A height adjustable seat back also has no rethreading required making your custom adjustments hassle free. To remove your car seat from the base for transport, the one-hand easy-access seat release makes quick trips possible. For superior side impact head protection, the Baby Trend car seat is built with EPS energy-absorbing foam to provide more cushion and protection for your baby. The smooth carrying handle features a thoughtfully engineered triangular shape designed to provide the optimal carrying angle for the least strain for the parent. To further shield your baby from the elements the car seat includes a canopy and a boot for extra warmth and comfort. Flex-Loc refers to the base's flexible (not rigid) latch straps.
