Because it offers extra legroom, the onBoard35 Air keeps your little one comfortable in a rear-facing position all the way until he or she reaches 35 pounds or 32 inches.

One in four crashes involving children are side-impact, the most dangerous type of collisions for children. The onBoard35 Air Infant Car Seat addresses this concern by integrating Air Protect technology, which helps to decrease the chances of crash-related injury for your precious cargo.

Safety 1st engineers designed Air Protect using testing methods that simulate the most violent types of side-impact crashes--those with vehicle intrusion. Using this methodology, Air Protect system was engineered to defend your child in two vital ways. In the event of a collision, the system immediately shields your child's head from impact. As its second layer of defense, Air Protect allows air to escape from the headrest, channeling crash energy away from your child and extending the amount of time it takes to slow your child's movement.

Easy to Install and Carry

The onBoard35 Air Infant Car Seat features an adjustable stay-in-car base that keeps the seat secure, and has an easy-to-read level indicator to help with proper installation. An integrated belt lock on the car seat base also simplifies installation by easily securing your vehicle seat belt, while the one-click LATCH system allows for fast installation when moving between compatible vehicles.

For further convenience, an ergonomic Carry Curve handle on the infant seat makes for comfortable transport to and from the car.
